This graphic design example is clean, organized, and to the point. This example is a piece of art which was used to create an easy to read message with a good concept behind it. The purpose of the design was to allow viewers to understand simply that it is difficult to find good examples of typography. Intended for an audience of designers, Craig Ward created this piece to almost remind others that they must master typography before they should put it out. The typography contributes to the message by the use of red type for the phrase "Bad typography is everywhere", which allows the phrase to stand out and be easily seen, just as bad typography is effortless to find. Not only does the red text reinforce this concept, but the fact that the red text is placed on top of the white text message "Good typography is invisible", further supports the concept of bad typography being more easily available than good.
